Hey everyone who clicked! I finally managed to write a full story for Rox, which I won't be changing anymore (I think), and now I need help choosing a present(?) for her. So if you're new and seeing me for the first time, enjoy reading nonsense and don't think OCs/inserting yourself into games is weird or crazy, OR you already know me and want to learn more about the things I've come up with, you can stick around and help me choose a story for my character!

FIrst, before I even started this (second) Newgrounds account, the idea for Rox was that she is Girlfriend's cousin. But when I recently remembered that idea, I remembered Otis, and that complicated my plans for originality, but... I have no idea what other relative Rox could be LMAO

But before I start explaining both stories, let's recall the main story of Rox and change it a little (a lot) and the person Rox is in general!

Alright, If you're familiar with Rox and my content, you already know I portray her as more of a shy, selfless, kind, let's be honest, people pleaser. But I want to expand on all of that, so let's start from the beginning. This is why no one can find my first ever news post which was about Rox anymore.

Okay so Rox is a kind, warm, very shy, and introverted person, as well as loyal and super selfless. So once you get to know her, she opens up very quickly. She's not very intelligent... when it comes to math (for example she doesn't know how much 6x8 is), but she has a lot of life experience and tries to give the best advice she can in her own way. She also knows and understands when someone doesn't feel like talking when something happens, so she isn't pushy, but gives signs that she always can help, and remembers little details about people too. Rox gets attached easily even to randoms sometimes, because she didn't have anyone to be emotionally involved with as a child and so on, which you'll read about later. Her love interst is... no explanation needed lmfao. She'll eat anything, so she doesn't complain, but she's totally addicted to Coke (THE DRINK OF COURSE); she won't drink anything else. Her favorite color is yellow, and her favorite flower is cornflower. When it comes to music, she listens to anything that catches her ear, mostly remixes or... phonk. yes. Also, giving characters their favorite Pokémon is cool, so Rox's would be Wartortle or Leafeon. It kind of matches her outfit anyway.

Rox- backstory; So, Charlotte, a wealthy American woman who likes to.. have fun, travels the world. During one of her trips to Poland, she met an alcoholic, Marek (Mark, but in Polish), at a party, and naturally slept with him, because that's who she is. And then an accident happened and she got pregnant. She was immediately discouraged from raising a child, so she stayed in Poland until the baby (Rox) was born, stayed there for maybe three months, and then returned to America without her. So little Rox lived with her alcoholic and abusive father for nine years. (And no, this isn't meant to be a depressing and compassionate story. I created this story for Rox to show how she became strong, independent, and so on. Through bad experiences, of course, but I still don't want to make Rox a sad, lonely child for everyone to pity; she can handle it)

Then, for some reason after all this time, Charlotte remembered Rox and took her to America to her mansion, where she spent most of her time with the butlers, who only cooked for her and drove her places because her mother wasn't home often. Rox stayed there and went to school (yes, THAT school) for four years, until Charlotte found a man who hated children, so she took Rox back to Mark in Poland (forcing Rox to change schools multiple times, which is why she never learned about the school events from Pico's School), where she stayed until she was eighteen, because that jerk didn't change and kicked her out.

Somehow, she managed to contact her mother, who sent Rox a ton of money without asking, and she managed to get back to America for help. She found an apartment there, as Charlotte still lives with the man, but she still supports her child in some way (only financially).

That's it for the main story. As for the "present," where Rox isn't a demon and isn't related to the Daerest family at all, but is more on Pico's side.

One day after shopping, when Rox was walking home, someone attacked her, but wow, somehow all three of them were nearby and saved her (they were having a good day), recognized her from school (Rox's appearance hadn't changed much), and as a thank you, Rox took the whole gang out for pizza, and so they started going out more often. lol

But for the "Rox if she were a demon" story, I thought Charlotte would be Mommy Mearest's distant cousin, which makes Rox half-demon (does Mark know about this? of course no), and has some powers like being "fireproof" (basically, she can set herself on fire, but without any damage or pain. Guess why I chose that option ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) BUT ALSO because it would explain my earlier drawings, like my first one on this website, how Rox got set on fire and didn't die. Hehe, well, I have a great excuse. Thanks, me from the past). And her half-red hair won't be dye!

And upon returning to America, Rox learns about her origins and relatives from Charlotte and wants to meet them. She found out where Girlfriend's family lives, so she went there, and the Dearests gladly welcomed her, hoping their daughter would have someone to spend time with who isn't Boyfriend.

But instead, Rox covers for Girlfriend and when they go out together, for example to the mall, Boyfiend goes out with them too.

And one time, while the three of them were playing with fire and cigarettes in some alley (basically, Boyfriend and Girlfriend were smoking using Rox's hair or hands), they ran into Pico's gang (well, Pico's gang ran into them). Pico and his friends recognized Rox from school because she started that campaign for Darnell and stuff, but they never knew she was half-demon, until now.

Darnell starts to get interested and REALLY regrets not spending time with Rox when she was still at school with them because he thinks her fire resistance is absolutely amazing. Rox notices this and gets really excited because she was in love with Darnell back then and maybe now she has a chance?.. Besides wondering HOW HE'S ALIVE. The girl suffered terribly because of it, not knowing his death was a lie LMAO. So now, when Rox and Girlfriend tell her parents they're leaving, GF meets with BF and Rox meets with Darnell, each meeting being perfectly planned and secret.

But Pico on the other hand is skeptical because, duh, Rox is a relative of GIRLFRIEND, and he states that Girlfriend kind of stole his man, so he's trying to separate Rox from Darnell so he doesn't see her, or worse, Girlfriend herself with his ex by her side. But also because his paranoid ass thinks it's a trap and Rox will try to hurt him or his friends. Rox doesn't have any enemies dude, dw😭 Besides, no one has even told her yet that Daddy Dearest hired the Pico gang to kill Boyfriend and she honestly thinks they just don't like each other or something.

And that's where it ends, and I'm asking for your advice. Should Rox stay with Pico's gang as 100% human, keeping it simple and completely unrelated to demons, or should we make her more interesting and let her sneak off to spend time with her school crush, thus doing a favor for her distant cousin, and so on, with powers and as a demon? I need YOUR help, dear reader, if you actually read all of this. I admire you, wow. Seriously.

When it comes to everything, Roxanne. Say you have a huge passion for writing about your character and in general without saying it. LITERALLY I CAN'T COME UP WITH ANYTHING FOR SCHOOL ESSAYS AND LOOK AT THIS.. oh well whateverrr.....
